Mucky Weekender Festival: 90s dance legends to perform at Hampshire festival as line-up confirmed
Fans of 90s dance music are in for a real treat when a Hampshire festival kicks off later this year.
Mucky Weekender Festival has announced its Thursday line-up ahead of the event’s return on September 10-12 at Vicarage Farm in Winchester.
The three-day festival is promising a mix of high-energy live acts with DJs playing dub, hip hop, electronic and club tunes. What’s more, they’re backing that promise up with a line-up that will have festivalgoers going wild.

If you like 90s dance music, the Thursday’s line-up will start proceedings off with a bang. Leading the first wave of artists for Thursday are Gentleman’s Dub Club, Goldie Lookin’ Chain, and special guests The Sabres of Paradise, alongside Greg Wilson, Leeroy Thornhill, and Terry Farley.
Thornhill is perhaps best known as a founding member of the Prodigy, while Welsh group Goldie Lookin’ Chain penned the 2004 hit Guns Don’t Kill People, Rappers Do.
With the festival now in it’s seventh year, founder Barry Ashworth of Dub Pistols said: “You can attend by yourself, feel safe, have the best time and leave with 100 new lifelong friends.”
Throughout the rest of the weekend, guests will be treated to performances from the likes of Roni Size, David Rodigan, Dutty Moonshine Big Band, Utah Saints and more.
Mucky Weekender Festival is renowned for its annual fancy dress theme, and this year is no exception. The theme in 2026 is ‘circus of freaks’, with surreal costumes promised across the four stages, bar and new fire garden.
