The comments come after Victoria Beckham’s social media post suggesting a reunion is “tempting.”
- Mel C has revealed information about a potential 2026 Spice Girls anniversary tour.
- While she remains “optimistic” about a tour, she also admits they are being “precious” regarding what opportunities present themselves.
- However, she also admits there is one member that they are keeping in the dark, owing to them almost letting slip information they shouldn’t.
With their ground-breaking album, Spice, turning 30 in 2026 and constant rumours of the full band getting back together to tour in celebration of the milestone, one Spice Girl has recently commented on a potential reunion in the new year.

Speaking to Good Morning America on Wednesday, Mel C discussed the “will they/won’t they” aspect of a tour featuring all five members, after the group toured in 2019 but without Victoria Beckham. "I remain optimistic,” she revealed, explaining that “It's our 30th anniversary next year. We're just so proud of the legacy that we have, and we have fans now from new generations who are just loving the Spice Girls, so I would like to get back on stage with the girls."
The Spice Girl suggested, however, that the group are being picky about what they want to do, and while they are talking about exploring “what opportunities are out there,” Mel C admitted that they are being “precious” about the tour and the group’s legacy.
“The thing that stops us is we feel so precious about it, we want to make sure it's the right thing and agree on the right thing,” she would go on to state.
One member that is being kept in the dark about any potential reunion would be Leeds’ own Scary Spice, Mel B, who has previously almost let slip of any plans for a reunion - the first featuring all five since the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games.
Speaking on the podcast No Filter with Kate Langbroek, Mel C joked: “We’ve decided now we’re not going to tell Mel anything because she can’t keep her mouth shut. [...] So don’t listen to Mel B because she doesn’t know, because we’re not telling her.”
Rumours have circled for a number of years regarding a full-blown Spice Girls reunion, and in September, there was even more speculation on 2026 plans after Victoria Beckham hinted at interest in reuniting by captioning a clip from a concert with "Tempting" and tagging her bandmates.
