Sprinkler system floods building with residents evacuating

Anita (66) and Sid Hopkins (58) roof on their house in Plumley Walk, Havant, they have rented from Guinness for 25 years blew off during Storm Eunice as well as the porch roof at the front of the property. As a result everything inside the house was soaked and damaged and they have been living in alternative accommodation for the last 9 weeks.

Couple blame firm for 'bodging' work causing water leaks

Residents at Guinness flats in West Leigh are angry as the housing association is taking away their storage sheds to provide a sprinkler system and not providing an alternative storage facilty.
