Hindley and Harry Gadd (32) put on 55 for the first wicket before Chris Stone helped him add an unbroken 97 for the second wicket.

Stone cracked two huge sixes in his 29-ball unbeaten 40 as Havant passed Burridge’s 148-8 total with four balls remaining.

Havant - who last won the T20 Cup in 2016, beating Sarisbury in the final - now meet New Milton in next Sunday’s semi-final.

Burridge skipper Hilio De Abreu had won the toss and elected to bat first at Havant Park.

He was his side’s top scorer, hitting 54 off 42 balls before he was run out.

Joe Collings-Wells (20) and Srujith Wickramasinghe (16) had given Burridge a good start before both men fell with the score on 36.

Havant skipper Chris Morgan claimed 3-19 off four overs, while Hindley bagged 2-27.

The truncated 2020 season could yet be a trophy-laden one for Havant.

In addition to the T20 Cup, they could yet top the SPL Premier/Division 1 East table - and their under-17s recently lifted the Hampshire Kerry Cup.
