Wycombe v Pompey: Early team news
Eoin Doyle will be handed a Pompey debut following his loan switch from Preston.
The striker is likely to serve as the lone striker as Paul Cook reverts back to a 4-2-3-1 system.
That will mean Conor Chaplin dropping to the bench, while Michael Smith has departed for Northampton for the remainder of the campaign.
Another deadline day arrival, Aaron Simpson, is expected to have to wait for his first-team opportunity.
Cook must decide which of his attacking midfielders will operate behind Eoin Doyle, so Kyle Bennett is pushing for a recall, while Jamal Lowe is also pushing for a start.
