Wessex League season to resume as planned from this weekend
The Wessex League is to recommence as planned from this weekend.
League officials have opted to allow all clubs to return to action following a month-long suspension.

It means Horndean, Fareham Town, Baffins Milton Rovers, AFC Portchester and US Portsmouth are permitted to get back to competitive football from Saturday.
'Non-elite' sport in England was paused for four weeks from last month while the country was placed in a second lockdown.
Leagues from step five and six level nationwide have been reaching their own decisions on whether they feel it is viable to restart seasons after the easing of restrictions nationwide today.
And the Wessex League have confirmed their plans to resume playing. There are just two games scheduled to take place on Saturday in the Premier Division and Division One with the FA Vase taking priority.
However, a full league programme across the two Wessex League divisions is planned for Tuesday.
But the league have confirmed they will review continuing the season in line with the government's two-weekly tier system updates.
There are 36 of the 39 clubs across the two divisions currently placed under tier two restrictions.
That will limit the sale of food and drink at those grounds while the three Isle of Wight-based teams - Cowes Sport, Newport IOW and East Cowes Victoria – are placed in tier one.
Clubs within the Wessex League under tier two restrictions should liaise with their local authority over the sale of refreshments on match-days.
