These are the marks out of 10 for those Pompey players who were introduced against Bristol City.
5. Liam Vincent - 7
Stayed organised and gave Pompey decent balance. Produced an excellent pass for Dan Gifford's chance before making an excellent last-ditch tackle moments later. Photo: Jason Brown
6. Jay Mingi - 6
The fact the midfielder was handed the armband shows how prominent he's been in pre-season. Held keep things ticking over with his presence. Photo: Jason Brown
7. Harry Jewitt-White - 6
Cruised up and down in the middle but couldn't quite get to the forefront of proceedings. One decent pass for Prince Henry's chance at the death. Photo: Jason Brown
8. Alfie Bridgman - 6
Afforded a decent chunk of action after his introduction for Jayden Reid after 45 minutes. Plenty of industry and some decent touches would have done his confidence no harm. Photo: Jason Brown
