The much-changed Blues were largely comfortable throughout, but netted twice in the final nine minutes to claim a 2-0 triumph – and 97 points for the campaign.
Myles Peart-Harris opened the scoring on 81 minutes with a first-time finish from Paddy Lane’s pass, then Lane himself netted deep into stoppage time after substitute Abu Kamara struck the post.
Next stop the Championship – and here are our Pompey player ratings...
13. Owen Moxon - 6
(Replaced Tom Lowery on 59 mins) Another good display as he continues to impress since his arrival. Puts himself about but also effective on the ball. Photo: Jason Brown
14. Christian Saydee - 6
(Replaced Callum Lang on 65 mins) Powerful, a handful, always great to watch him in full flow. Photo: Jason Brown
15. Abu Kamara - 7
(Replaced Tino Anjorin on 65 mins) If it is his Pompey farewell, what a loan it has been. Hit the post in stoppage time, converted by Lane to make it 2-0. Photo: Jason Brown
16. Kusini Yengi 0 7
(Replaced Colby Bishop on 65 mins) Made a great impact coming off the bench, proving a real handful and winning fouls. Photo: Jason Brown
