Voting delay for Portsmouth, Peterborough, Sunderland & Co as League One wait continues

League One clubs are still awaiting the opportunity to vote on how to conclude the 2019-20 campaign.

It is understood, as of this morning, members have yet to receive the ballot papers required to register their preference for deciding the season.

They were expected to be sent out last night, after the Football League had set a 2pm deadline for fresh proposals to be submitted.

However, the papers were not distributed, leaving clubs this morning unable to vote.

That now remains to be seen following the latest delay.

At it stands, clubs have the option whether to fulfil the remaining League One fixtures – or focus solely on a four-team play-off campaign.
