With the season over for most League One and Two clubs and the Championship being extended into July, sides have been sending out their retained list for the upcoming 2020-21 campaign.
It means that there are now even more free agents on the market – and we’ve been keeping tabs on which players have been released.

5. Sam Winnall - Sheffield Wednesday

7. Kane Wilson - West Brom
The right-back has had loan spells with Exeter and Tranmere during his career. His best days are still very much ahead aged 20. Photo: Clint Hughes
8. Tareiq Holmes-Dennis - Bristol Rovers
The left-back has been luckless with injuries - as we saw when he suffered a season-ending knee injury on Pompey debut in 2017. He's been let go by Bristol Rovers but has plenty of class when available. Photo: Joe Pepler
