Charlton seal £500,000 move for Dundee defender
Charlton Athletic have sealed a move for Dundee central defender Billy Koumetio.
The Addicks have landed the 23-year-old Frenchman on a four-year deal after their £500,000 bid with add-ons was accepted by the Scottish Premiership side.
The ex-Liverpool defender moves to The Valley ater 44 games for Dundee over the past two seasons.
With Koumetio’s Dens Park contract due to expire next season, it was the last opportunity for the Dark Blues to get decent money for him.
His departure comes at the same time as Stoke close in on the £2m signing of defensive partner Luke Graham, who has opted for a move to the bet365 stadium ahead of a switch to Pompey.
Meanwhile, heading out of Charlton is defender Macaulay Gillesphey, who has joined Bradford City for an undisclosed fee, and former Pompey loanee Gassan Ahadme. He’s joined Cambridge United on a season-long loan.

Midfielder completes Stoke switch
Pompey target Svante Ingelsson has left Sheffield Wednesday and joined Stoke City.
The midfielder has linked up with Mark Robins’ side on a three-year deal, after an undisclosed fee was accepted by the Owls.
The move ends months of speculation regarding the former Hansa Rostock ace, who turned down a move to the Blues in January.
Millwall, West Brom and Preston North End were also keen on the 28-year-old.
He’s the second player to turn down the opportunity of a move to the south coast, following Graham’s impending move to the Potters.

Pompey’s opening-day Championship opponents QPR are currently being linked with three players - two of whom will interest the Blues.
Swansea right-back Josh Key, who was last month linked with a move to Fratton Park, is apparently on their radar.
Former Bluess loanee Myles Peart-Harris has also been credited with a move to west London following his Oxford United departure at the end of last season.
Meanwhile, the Rs are also apparently weighing up a move for French right-back Nolan Galves, who is currently plying his trade with Rodez,
