Not that the Fratton faithful need informing, but they'll see Pompey happily ensconced at the summit.
Kenny Jackett' s side are looking down on their rivals after defeating Hull City 2-0 in front of the Sky Sports cameras a week ago.
The Blues did face the prospect of not being top on December 25 earlier this week when Doncaster hosted Shrewsbury at the Keepmoat.
A win for Donny would have seen them leapfrog Pompey.
However, ex-Blues boss Steve Cotterill did his old side a favour by engineering Shrewsbury’s 1-0 success.
Pompey are undoubtedly in a strong position, although Kenny Jackett and his troops are well aware there’s still more than half the season remaining.
It was only two seasons ago when the Blues were top of the tree at Christmas but failed to deliver promotion.

7. 2013 - Leyton Orient
