The 'proper boozer' former Portsmouth midfielder had a few cracking afternoons in
It’s the pre-match tradition that’s long been induldged in.
Whether it's a quick pint to calm the nerves or catching up with a few mates before kick-off, Pompey supporters aplenty flock to the pubs around Fratton Park on a match-day.
Everyone has their favoured watering hole of choice, usually one they’ve been going to for years.
One of the most popular among Blues fans is the Shepherd's Crook, which is a stone's throw away from PO4 that fans can make a quick dash to.
And the Winter Road establishment was a favourite of Si Ferry’s during his spell with the Blues.
The midfielder spent one season at Pompey during the 2013-14 campaign after arriving from Swindon.
He netted one goal in 30 appearances before departing by mutual consent and joining Dundee.
However, Ferry revealed on Twitter he was partial to a scoop in the Crook on Sundays, along with a jaunt down Albert Road.

When asked by a fellow Scot who’s moved to the city to recommend a place for a night out, the Peterhead man wrote: ‘Alrite (sic) mate loved Pompey man the Shepard’s crook is a proper Pompey boozer had a few great Sundays in there then anywhere on Albert Road.
‘There’s a nightclub up the town that tremendous on a Thursday as well.’
