A look at the most successful teams in terms of overall points since 1 January 2015

Over the last 10 years, Portsmouth have enjoyed a steady rise from the bottom half of the League Two table to the Championship in a decade of huge progression both on and off the pitch at Fratton Park.

Last season, John Mousinho masterminded the club’s return to the Championship for the first time since 2012 by spearheading the club to a League One title with a remarkable 97 points in 46 matches.

The achievement adds to Portsmouth’s League Two title in 2016/17 and marks the latest chapter in the team’s quest to make their way back to the promised land of the Premier League at some point in the near future after a difficult period in the early 2010s which was marred by financial mismanagement.

Pompey are one of the biggest success stories of the last 10 years alongside the likes of Plymouth Argyle and Luton Town who have both also experienced their fair share of promotion success in recent years.

But how does Portsmouth’s overall points tally in the last 10 years stack up against Premier League giants such as Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and more.
