5. Tony Gallacher - Liverpool
The Scot was linked to Barcelona as a youngster before joining the Reds from Falkirk. Gallacher admitted he expected to join a League One side in the summer before moving to MLS outfit Toronto for the remainder of the year, where he played 10 times. He may want more senior football and a switch to the third tier could suit. Photo: Nick Taylor/Liverpool FC

6. Josh Earl - Preston
The 22-year-old’s been handed just six appearances for North End so far. Earl joined Ipswich on loan this time last year for more minutes and could be open to another switch to League One to get games under his belt. Photo: Alex Dodd - CameraSport

7. Nathaniel Ogbeta - Manchester City
The England under-20 international is an attack-minded full-back who likes to put crosses into the box. Those attributes are similar to Cam Pring and while Ogbeta has yet to play much senior football, a loan would be the next step. Photo: NurPhoto
