We’re still a couple of weeks away from the transfer window opening - yet Pompey have already been linked with a stack of summer signings.
Inevitably some of those names are on the list of potential arrivals the recruitment team are working to as the Blues raise the recruitment bar, while others are well wide of the mark.
We’ve used our contacts and inside knowledge to break down every, single player linked with joining John Mousinho’s Championship charge - and the chances of a move happening.

5. Jamal Lowe - Bournemouth
Former Pompey favourite has been linked with a Fratton return along with a stack of Championship clubs this summer, after a loan stint at Swansea. But the 'Premier League' wages Lowe commands would likely rule out a deal for the Jamaica international, even with Pompey's boosted kitty in the second tier. | Getty Images

6. Matt Ritchie - Newcastle
Would love to return to Pompey and has stated his desire to pull on the royal blue shirt before retiring to The News. Still in great condition, too, but the understanding is the Gosport boy isn't seen as a player who fits in with the club's recruitment model - making the chances of a homecoming unlikely. | Getty Images

7. Karamoko Dembele - Brest
John Mousinho is known to be a fan of the attacking talent's quality after a big impact with Blackpool last term. When it comes to a move, Dembele is exactly the type of profile of player they're looking to bring in. Been linked with a move to the Premier League - which in turn could lead to a Championship loan. Pompey would be expected to be in that conversation, or alternatively looking at what his current club Brest's plans are for the 21-year-old. Photo: CameraSport - Lee Parker

8. Antony Evans - Bristol Rovers
The News reported interest in the goalscoring Bristol Rovers midfielder at the start of the month. That was a notion which emanated from outside of PO4, after the Scouser's impressive season with the Gas. It remains to be seen how serious a consideration the 25-year-old now is, as a number of options are sought at the front end of midfield. Photo: CameraSport - Lee Parker
