Liam Vincent went closest to breaking the deadlock with a shot which struck the inside of the far post, while Anthony Scully had a goal ruled out for offside.
Yet the opening 45 minutes finished goalless ahead of a scheduled 11 changes at half-time as Mousinho utilised 22 members of his playing squad.
There were some encouraging displays and here are our player ratings for the first half...

5. Connor Ogilvie - 6
One poor pass from an attacking position almost proved costly with Bognor on the break, but otherwise very comfortable. Attempted to get forward more but pace of Pattenden always a threat. Photo: Jason Brown

6. Marlon Pack - 6
Caused a scare early on when caught in possession to launch a Bognor attack, but soon settled down. One lovely clip over the top which picked out Scully, who scored only to be ruled out for offside. Photo: Jason Brown

7. Tom Lowery - 6
Always wanting the ball and willing to launch an attack, but nothing really came off to inspire the Blues to produce a scoring opportunity. Superb energy, though. Photo: Jason Brown

8. Harry Jewitt-White - 7
Unfortunate not to score on 22 minutes when he swivelled and fired in a low shot which was kept out superbly by the keeper. Later sent a free-kick just over the bar and overall another encouraging showing. Photo: Jason Brown
