Steve Seddon taking Portsmouth promotion push one game at a time - but marker laid down ahead of this weekend's games
Steve Seddon feels Pompey have cranked up the pressure on their League One promotion rivals who are in action over the weekend.
The Blues took advantage of their Friday night fixture by beating Rochdale 3-0 at Fratton Park.

Seddon bagged his maiden goal for the club since arriving on loan from Birmingham in between efforts from Ryan Williams and Christian Burgess.
Kenny Jackett’s side's success moved them up to third in the table – and two points outside the automatic promotion places.
All the contenders pushing for a spot in the Championship are in action today and tomorrow.
The showpiece tie is second-placed Coventry hosting fifth-placed Sunderland on Sunday, with at least one of them guaranteed to drop points.
Seddon knows there's still a long way to go in the promotion battle – but is enjoying the challenge.
The left-back said: ‘We can see how the results pan out in the rest of the league but we’re putting pressure on.
‘It’s not going to be easy. There are a lot of ups and downs on the way and we’ve got to take things one game at a time.
‘We’ll see where we are heading into the last bit of the season.
‘It sounds easy that all you've got to do is get on a run.
‘It sounds easy but we have got to do that.'
