John Mousinho’s men ran out 4-0 winners at the League One side through goals from Colby Bishop (two), Callum Lang and Jordan Williams this afternoon.
The Blues dominated for long spells, using 23 different pla yers, and will be delighted with their latest friendl y work-out heading towards the August 9 start at Oxford United.
And here are our Pompe y pla yer ratings...
5. Connor Ogilvie - 7
(Replaced by Jacob Farrell on 59 mins) Linked up well with Murphy down the left a few times, yet barely challenged defensively as he found it comfortable. Photo: Nigel Keene
6. Marlon Pack - 8
(Replaced by Zak Swanson on 70 mins) Wonderful ball over the top to pick out Williams’ run through the middle for the first goal. Used the ball brilliantly overall, dictating the Blues’ play and helping them dominate possession. Photo: Simon Roe
7. Andre Dozzell - 7
(Replaced b Terry Devlin on 70 mins) Along with Pack, helped Pompey dictate the match. Mobility and energy as usual, while uses the ball so well. Photo: Nigel Keene
8. Callum Lang - 7
(Replaced by John Swift on 46 mins) Shrugged off departure rumours. As ever, in the thick of the action, this time scoring 23 minutes into his first friendly of the summer when he converted Murphy's cross. Operating on the right flank, with Segecic in the number 10, he was his usual threat with energy and directness and also assisted for Bishop to grab Pompey’s third. Photo: Jason Brown
