The key promotion contenders have very much emerged, although plenty can change from now until the end of the season.
Still, it won’t be too long before the Team of the Season is announced around the end of March.
Pompey went unrepresented in the line-up last campaign, while Matt Clarke was the only Blues player in the 2018-19 campaign.
Should Kenny Jackett’s side thrust themselves into the top two in the coming weeks then surely there’ll be a host of players at Fratton Park who’ll warrant claims to be in the XI.
But would any of Pompey’s players make the cut if the team was announced today?
The boffins at scouting and stats-based website Wyscout have crunched the numbers to compile what they believe is the Team of the Season so far.
Scroll down to see how many members of the Blues’ squad have made the cut…

5. Left-back - Joe Pritchard (Accrington)
The versatile 24-year-old has featured in a number of positions during Accy's surprise play-off bid. He's impressively chipped in with six goals and five assists to date. Photo: Daniel Chesterton
6. Right-midfield - Marcus Harness (Pompey)
The winger's form has dipped lately but he started the campaign in barnstorming fashion. Harness has notched five goals and six assists from 26 games, having also operated as a second striker at times. Photo: Daniel Chesterton
7. Centre-midfield - Matty Lund (Rochdale)
Perhaps a surprise inclusion in the team ahead of the likes of Lincolm's Jorge Grant and Hull's George Honeyman among others. Lund's been one of the standout performers for the struggling Dale, however, and plundered 11 goals from midfield in 26 games. He also has two assists. Photo: Lewis Storey
8. Centre-midfield - Scott Fraser (MK Dons)
Pompey fans clamoured for Kenny Jackett to sign the Scot in the summer - and it's understandable why. Even during their early-season struggles, Fraser was performing superbly and he is the Dons' lynchpin. He has eight goals and two assists in 25 outings. Photo: Naomi Baker
