Pompey wouldn’t have wanted the two week break to come round so quickly after they ended a dismal winless run with victory over Sunderland.
Prior to washing the Black Cats away in torrential rain, Danny Cowley’s side endured a horrific eight game streak which included defeats to Cambridge and Burton.
Despite such a run, a few players still performed consistently while others struggled to produce their best.

13. 3- Clark Robertson 7.1
Robertson's presence has been sorely missed since being sidelined through injury. Handed the captains armband by Danny Cowley shows the esteem the defender already has at Fratton Park. Photo: JPIMedia
14. 2- Gavin Bazunu 7.2
The 19-year-old has been an ever-present for the Blues since his summer arrival. Hard to believe Bazunu is still a teenager following mature and breathtaking displays and more often than not, keeps Pompey in games with crucial saves. Photo: The News
15. 1. Sean Raggett - 7.6
Raggetinho is fast becoming one of the Blues' most loved players. The former Norwich defender delivers assured and commanding performances consistently and ended Pompey's losing streak by equalising at the death against Plymouth. Photo: The News
