Rasmus Nicolaisen handed full league debut as Portsmouth face high-flying Lincoln City
Rasmus Nicolaisen gets his full league bow as Pompey make one change at Lincoln.
The Dane comes in for his first league start at Sincil Bank, as expected as he replaces the injured Jack Whatmough. That’s the only switch for Kenny Jackett, however, as he hopes to avoid back-to-back league defeats against Michael Appleton’s side.
Interestingly, the space on the bench is filled by young prospect Haji Mnoga, who’s favoured over more experienced defensive pair James Bolton and Paul Downing.
Pompey: MacGillivray, Johnson, Nicolaisen, Raggett, Brown, Williams, Naylor, Cannon, Curtis, Harness, Marquis.
Subs: Bass, Mnoga, Pring, Close, Morris, Hiwula, Harrison
