Predicted Championship table: Where Portsmouth, Norwich and Blackburn rank as transfer window closes

The January transfer window has come to an end - but where are Portsmouth now predicted to finish in the Championship table?

The January transfer window officially closed for business on Monday night and it would be safe to say it was a busy month for John Mousinho and Portsmouth.

In total, seven new faces have arrived as Derby County midfielder Ebou Adams, Birmingham City winger Keshi Anderson and Haugesund defender Madiodio Dia were all snapped up on permanent deals. Luton Town duo Jacob Brown and Milenic Alli joined on loan and there were also temporary agreements for Sunderland defender Aji Alese and Santos winger Gustavo Caballaro.

There were outgoings as Tom McIntyre agreed his release from Pompey before joining Aberdeen and Callum Lang secured a move to Championship rivals Preston North End. Two young players also departed as Harry Clout and Reuben Swann joined non-league clubs on loan as their development was given another boost away from Fratton Park.

But what does that all mean for Pompey’s battle against relegation? We take a look at Opta’s latest predicted final Championship table to see where Mousinho’s men could finish this season.
