Portsmouth's £1.9m bill for Fratton Park improvements is revealed
Pompey spent £1.9m on improving Fratton Park during a 12-month period, club accounts reveal.

And they detail the cost of improving their 103-year-old home.
Figures show that work totalling was carried out at Fratton Park during that period.
It is understood that mainly centred on the completion of South Stand work in the summer of 2019, and the start of North Stand improvements.
At the time, the club explained there was the possibility of having to close upper sections of the stands had such repairs not been carried out.
Overall, £2,128,267 was spent on tangible fixed assets, with the balance believed to also include Frogmore Road office improvements and the purchase of a small amount of neighbouring property.
Meanwhile, in August 2020, planning permission was granted on proposals for a new Milton end.
Those plans had been unveiled by Pompey in January 2020, with work yet to commence on the redevelopment.
