Last time out, Danny Cowley’s men secured a well-earned point at play-off rivals Ipswich to remain in the play-off hunt.
And a win at the sixth-placed Pilgrims could see Pompey reduce the deficit to the top six to four points – keeping them in with a chance of securing promotion.
Cowley made two changes for the trip to Ipswich on Saturday but could make just the one tonight as he continues to rotate his central midfielders.
Here’s how we predict Pompey will line up tonight.

13. Sub 2: Denver Hume
Hasn't done a lot wrong since he arrived in January and is unlucky to find himself on the bench behind Connor Ogilvie, who continues to shine at left wing-back. Photo: The News

14. Sub 3: Liam Vincent
Continues to find himself on the bench after recovering from injury and could be a prospect for next season. Photo: Portsmouth FC

15. SUB 4: Jay Mingi
Looks to have recovered from his injury set-back a couple of weeks ago and is set for another game on the bench. Photo: The News

16. SUB 5: Ryan Tunnicliffe
Would feel hard done by if he was dropped after another solid performance against Ipswich. But any one of the three senior central midfielders could find themselves on the bench tonight based on Cowley's recent rotation. Photo: The News
