It’s expected to be a busy climax to the transfer window at Fratton Park as John Mousinho looks to strengthen ahead of a hugely-important run in.
The Blues have, of course, recruited Millenic Alli, Ebou Adams and Keshi Anderson already in the window, with three more faces potentially arriving before the deadline.
There has been plenty of names tipped with a switch to PO4 throughout the window and while some have already been shut down, others are still rumoured to be on the cards.
We’ve taken a look at what Pompey’s starting XI and bench could look after the market closes on February 2 if those speculations were true.
Here’s what that 20-man squad could look like, factoring in the Blues’ current injury issues.

5. CB: Connor Ogilvie
Ogilvie has had to slot in at centre-back over the past week due to injuries to a number of Pompey's central defenders. The 29-year-old has looked solid in the heart of the backline, which could lead Mousinho to opt with the left-back to fill the current void. | Stephen Flynn/ProSportsImages
6. LB: Zak Swanson
Swanson has been almighty this term, which has seen him reinvigorate himself at left-back. The Fratton faithful are calling for the Blues to hand the popular 25-year-old a new deal. | Graham Hunt/ProSportsImages

7. CM: Ebou Adams
The 'General' has already established himself as a cult hero at Fratton Park after his goal against Southampton on Sunday. The midfielder has been a welcome addition in the engine room. | Getty Images

8. CM: Svante Ingelsson
Pompey are tracking the Sheff Wed man this month, with our sister paper, The Star, revealing the Blues have had a bid rejected by the Owls. The Swede's best position is in the number eight role operating as a box-to-box midfielder. | Getty Images
