Pompey’s good turn of form continued on Wednesday evening, picking up a 1-1 draw against play-off hopefuls Watford.
Adrian Segecic fired the Blues ahead on 73 minutes with his second goal in two games, before a Nicolas Schmid mistake was capitalised by Mamadou Doumbia just six minutes later.
Despite late Hornets pressure, John Mousinho’s men were able to hold on to a point, which moves them back out of the Championship relegation zone.
His side were backed by 1,774 supporters at Vicarage Road, who were in good sprits throughout the evening.
