Portsmouth v Ipswich Town: Early team and injury news as 16 out and 2 doubts for midweek showdown

Pompey welcome Ipswich Town to Fratton Park this evening.

After a hectic deadline day, attention turns to on-pitch matters for Pompey this evening as they welcome Ipswich Town.

The Blues were busy on the final day of the window, with Gustavo Caballero, Jacob Brown and Madiodio Dia arriving, while Callum Lang and Tom McIntyre departed Fratton Park.

John Mousinho’s men will now be fully focused on continuing their fine run of form in the league, which has seen them lose just one of their previous nine matches.

Promotion-hopefuls Ipswich, meanwhile, sit fourth in the standings following their 1-1 draw against Preston North End on Saturday.

We’ve taken a look at the early team and injury news ahead of this evening’s rearranged Championship contest.
