Following the international break and Saturday’s postponed clash at Blackburn, John Mousinho’s men will face Millwall at Fratton Park tonight (7.45pm).
Here’s how we think the Blues could line up for tonight’s clash...
5. LCB Marlon Pack
Expected to keep his place as a make-shift left-sided centre-half in place of Tom McIntyre against Millwall. The experiment worked sufficiently well in the visit of Preston to be handed an extended run. Photo: Jason Brown
6. LB Connor Ogilvie
Connor Ogilvie is currently short of left-back competition due to Jacob Farrell's ongoing injury issues since he arrived at Fratton Park. Having said that, the long-serving defender is growing into the challenges of the Championship - while has two goals in his last four outings. Photo: Jason Brown
7. CM Freddie Potts
Has been the pick of the central midfielders so far this season during his maiden Championship campaign. Classy on the ball, confident, and oozing quality, it has been an impressive early impact from the West Ham man. Photo: Jason Brown
8. CM Andre Dozzell
Produced his best performance in a Pompey shirt in the 3-1 success against Preston in their recent match. Steadily growing into his role, having started the last four successive matches in place of Marlon Pack. Perhaps can now begin to win over the early-season doubters over his inclusion.
