The campaign kicks off tomorrow at a packed Fratton Park against Joey Barton’s Bristol Rovers.
But how will Pompey line up as John Mousinho begins he first full season at the helm? Here’s how we think he is likely to go.
17. Sub: Abu Kamara
Offers attacking versatility which could be enough to earn the Norwich loanee a place on the bench. Photo: Jason Brown
18. Sub: Kusini Yengi
Looked impressive in training in pre-season and will definitely something different off the bench if needed. Photo: Jason Brown
19. Sub: Christian Saydee
Looks like he has the kind of brute power and determination to make Saydee a fans' favourite. Photo: Jason Brown
