But the Blues make the visit to Highbury Stadium off the back of their first three points since October after their victory against Exeter on Saturday.
And it was an instant impact for new boss John Mousinho, who was unveiled just 24 hours before the 2-0 triumph at Fratton Park on the weekend.
His arrival also saw a change in formation, with Pompey deploying a 4-3-3 formation for the first time this season.
However, the new head coach won’t have any new faces to choose from, with Clark Robertson (groin), Jay Mingi (knee), Joe Rafferty (groin), Tom Lowery (hamstring) and Jayden Reid (ACL) all still absent, while Michael Morrison is putting in the final touches on his switch to Cambridge.
As Pompey look to pick up their first consecutive maximum points haul in League One since September, here’s how we believe the Blues will line-up this evening.

9. RW - Owen Dale
Dale ran his socks off on Saturday and was unlucky not to get his name on the scoresheet in the first half. With the date of his recall option from Blackpool now expired, the Blues have full use of the 25-year-old for the remainder of the season. Photo: Jason Brown

10. LW - Ronan Curtis
The winger was benched on Saturday but made an impact when he came on in the second half in place of Michael Jacobs. With Mousinho tasking himself with unlocking Curtis’ firepower at Pompey, that challenge could be given a helping hand with a start start in Lancashire this evening. Photo: Jason Brown

11. ST - Colby Bishop
Bishop was a nuisance all afternoon for the Exeter backline, with his physical presence causing plenty of issues for the Grecians defenders. Another tough contest is expected this evening and the striker will likely be the chosen man to lead the line against Fleetwood. Photo: Jason Brown
