The game will be the Blues’ second trip to Brisbane Road this season, with a 4-0 victory recorded against the O’s back in August.
However, there’ll be plenty of changes to the side that easily brushed aside Richie Wellens’ side that memorable day. There’ll also be wholesale changes from Sunday’s loss at the Proact Stadium, with head coach Mousinho having one eye on Saturday’s important league game against Charlton.
A growing injury list, however, means Pompey’s options are starting to stretch, especially if the boss wants to keep first-team regulars fresh for the challenge the Addicks will pose at the weekend.
So what sort of team do we think will take to the pitch at Brisbane Road tonight (kick-off 7pm)? Well, here’s how we think the Blues will line up.

9. Right wing: Gavin Whyte
Whyte's best performance in a Pompey shirt probably came in that 4-0 win back in the summer. He's struggled to repeat that display ever since, so tonight's game might be a great oppottunity to remind the Fratton faithful why John Mousinho and Rich Hughes brought him to the club in the summer. He's a player who needs to put on a performance to quieten his doubters. Photo: Simon Davies

10. No10: Christian Saydee
The former Bournemouth player is someone who appears to have gone off the boil a but in recent weeks. Another player who could do will a decent night in east London simply to bolster his confidence. Photo: Jason Brown

11. Left-wing: Abu Kamara.
Could easily copy and paste the words attached to Saydee's inclusion. It would be interesting toi know how John Mouinsho really feels about the current form of his widemen and attacking midifielders. Photo: Simon Davies

12. Centre-forward: Kusini Yengi
Expect Colby Bishop to be given the night off and the young Aussie to lead the line against the O's. Has been used sparringly since his recovery from injury. Disappointingly, he didn't get a look-in when he came off the bench against Chesterfield on Sunday. Is without a goal in four games, which his a drought as far as Yengi is concerned.
