But preparations for both sides have been heavily affected with sickness bugs affecting either camp.
Dane Scarlett, Jay Mingi were both absent from Monday’s squad against Exeter through illness, while Connor Ogilvie could only be named on the bench.
Danny Cowley has reported further issues have hit his squad ahead of this evening’s meeting with the head coach claiming three different bugs have taken effect.
Zak Swanson returned from his stomach injury on Boxing Dale, while other absentees will remain on the sidelines.
The Blues will be eyeing three points for the first time in seven league games as they welcome Ipswich for their final game in 2022.
Here’s how we think they could line-up this evening.

5. LB: Connor Ogilvie
The defender was an unused sub against Exeter on Monday after suffering with illness. In fact, the left-back didn't even warm up for the stalemate. However, Ogilvie is a tough cookie and could return as Cowley revealed he has trained since the draw. Photo: Jason Brown

6. RM: Owen Dale
The Blackpool loanee has had to reinvent himself as a right-wing back following Swanson's injury. That had limited his attacking threat, but the winger could return to his natural, more attacking, position against Ipswich this evening. Photo: Jason Brown

7. CM: Marlon Pack
The midfielder hasn't been up to his high standards in recent like we saw at the start of the season. But he appeared back to his best against Exeter and will continue to sit in the middle of the park like we've so regularly seen this campaign. Photo: Jason Brown

8. CM: Joe Morrell
The Welshman has been frustratingly limited for game time this season with injuries, illness and World Cup commitments playing major parts. After being hit with the sickness bug last week, the midfielder only returned to training on Christmas Eve and came on as a second half sub on Monday. But with more training under his belt, expect him to get the nod against the Tractor Boys. Photo: Jason Brown
