Portsmouth news RECAP: Latest updates and reaction in aftermath of crunch League One vote as Pompey set to face Oxford United in play-offs

Teams voted to cut the season short at an EFL meeting on Tuesday, following in the footsteps of League Two.

Coventry have been prompted as champions, while Rotherham also secured the second automatic promotion spot as the final places in the table were decided by an unweighted points per game system.

Pompey will now face The Us in a two-legged play-off, as the quest for promotion to the Championship continues.

The dates for the League One play-offs have not yet been confirmed.
