Injury and illness prevented Marlon Pack, Tom Lowery, Di’Shon Bernard, Jay Mingi, Clark Robertson, Ronan Curtis, Matt Macey, Zak Swanson and Jayden Reid from taking part in the 1-0 win against the Brewers.
So as the Blues prepare for a trip to Lincoln on Saturday, is there hope that any of the above will be deemed fit to face the Imps?
We asked Pompey boss John Mousinho – and here’s what he had to say…
9. Matt Macey - sickness bug
Mousinho: ‘We are monitoring Matt day by day at the moment, but he’s showing some good signs of improvement.’ Photo: Jason Brown
10. Jayden Reid - ACL injury
Mousinho: 'It looks like Jayden will be out until the summer so not back until next season having had the double ACL. I've spoken to Jayden about the injury, I haven't spoke to him about what it looks like going forward. He's still here every day and is actively involved - that's part of the duty of care we have with players' Picture: by Rogan/Fever Pitch Photo: Rogan
