Portsmouth will hope to make the most of the famous Fratton Park atmosphere once again when they face Championship rivals Bristol City on Saturday lunchtime.
A week of contrasting fortunes will come to an end when John Mousinho’s men look to bounce back from their disappointing defeat at Sheffield United in midweek by returning to winning ways on their home patch.
If they are able to do so, Pompey will make it consecutive wins at Fratton Park after Zak Swanson, Adrian Segecic and Jordan Williams all found the net in a 3-1 victory against Millwall last weekend that briefly gave Mousinho’s side some breathing space to the Championship relegation zone.
However, the defeat at Bramall Lane means Pompey are looking over their shoulders at the drop zone once again and that only heightens the importance of their home form - but how does Portsmouth’s Fratton Park record compare to their Championship rivals’ home form this season?
