Talk of Fratton Park exit for the £300,000 capture from Liverpool. Here’s the latest details.

Polish side Widzew Łódź are being most strongly linked with Blair, who has been dealing with a hip problem after a Fratton stay hampered by injury issues.

That’s according to Belgian transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who has stated a written offer has been made for the £300,000 signing.

Swiss outfit Servette and Hungarian side Ferencváros are also said to be ‘monitoring’ Blair’s situation, with a view to potentially accelerating their interest.

Blair’s destiny this summer is a consideration for John Mousinho, as he prepares his squad for their third Championship campaign

The 22-year-old has made just seven league starts in two years amid a total 28 Pompey outings, with the Huddersfield-born talent now in the final year of his existing Fratton deal.

Severe hamstring injuries have been the source of Blair’s fitness problems, with a hip-flexor problem impacting his progress last term.

Mousinho spoke about keeping Blair in the building at the end of last month, with Pompey’s squad severely impacted by winger absences.

Speaking then, Mousinho indicated a loan move wasn’t a consideration for the player.

He said: ‘The most important thing for Harvey has been the fact he has been available to train, he has been available to play games.

‘He hasn’t had that in the past two seasons, so once we get him fit, once we get him at it, we want to see what we know Harvey is capable of.

‘I think we saw it in glimpses last season, particularly when he played in the side consistently around Christmas. The fitness aspect is the biggest thing.

‘We’re not looking to loan him out at the minute. Against Wycombe we started with Harvey on the left and Eoin Kenny on the right when we had brought him in as a 10.

‘Then, in the second half, we had Ibane Bowat on the left wing and the triallist (Appiah) on the right. So, at the minute, absolutely not.’

Mousinho is due to speak to the press this afternoon, where there will likely be an update on Blair’s fitness and Fratton future.
