Do you agree with how Blues writer Jordan Cross saw it against Javi Gracia’s side in Hertfordshire?
5. Connor Ogilvie 7
Warrior in the middle, as Ogilvie filled the sizable void created by Conor Shaughnessy’s loss to injury. Headed and kicked it in a pretty forceful to-and-fro with Kjerrugaard, while stepping out when given the chance. Blocks all night long, too. | John Mallett/ProSportsImages
6. Zak Swanson 5
Struggled defensively on start at left-back amid defensive reshuffle. Caught out positionally but offered moments of quality going forward. Replaced by Williams at break, which was telling. | Getty Images
7. Ebou Adams 8
A new fans’ favourite is born. A full debut to savour from the new boy as he clamped down the midfield in forceful fashion, while making a big difference defending set-pieces. | Jez Tighe/ProSportsImages
8. Andre Dozzell 6
Ate up the yards in trademark fashion, though should have dealt with Giorgi Chakvetadze better for one Watford breakaway. Ticked over in possession after break and got some key defensive touches in with a promising understanding seen with Adams. | Jez Tighe/ProSportsImages
