Portsmouth's move for exciting Brentford talent is a done deal

Jayden Meghoma is the latest player to join Pompey.

The News understands a deal has been agreed with Premier League side Brentford to land the 20-year-old on a season long loan.

The left-back is in attendance at Fratton Park this evening as John Mousinho’s men face Derby County in the Championship.

All formalities have been signed, with the deadline day deal set to be officially confirmed later tonight.

The England youth international will be the solution to the head coach’s left-back issues, with Connor Ogilvie and Jacob Farrell both out injured.

Meghoma impressed during a season-long stay at Rangers last term and has also spent time on loan with Preston North End.
