It’s expected to be a busy summer at Fratton Park as John Mousinho assembles his Championship squad.
There’s plenty of work to be done, with the Blues looking to avoid another relegation battle next term.
Indeed, potential signings are the priority for supporters as the Fratton faithful clamour for incomings after the shutters came up last week.
This means outgoings are to be expected as Mousinho shapes his squad to combat any potential incomings.
The futures of several players in the head coach’s squad are under the spotlight for one reason or another so we’ve assessed the nine players who could depart PO4 in the coming months.
With the players set to return for pre-season testing this week, we’ve taken a look at those who have been touted with an exit this summer.

5. Ibane Bowat
Bowat is looking for regular football, having notched up just 18 competitive outings following his 2024 arrival. The Blues are already well stocked at the heart of defence but are still looking to strengthen this summer, which puts further doubt over the 23-year-old's future. | Dennis Goodwin/ProSportsImages

6. Jordan Williams
The News understands the right-back does have interest from the Championship and in League One as clubs look to pounce on his current Fratton situation. Williams has fallen victim to the impressive rise of Devlin and Zak Swanson, which has seen him game time dry up. As he enters the final 12 months of his deal, the 26-year-old could be on the lookout for regular football. | Pro Sports Images

7. Jacob Farrell
Farrell's frustrating two-year stay at Fratton Park could come to an end this summer, with the left-back expected to be on the move. The Aussie has registered just three first-team outings following his 2024 arrival having been heavily hampered by injury. It is understood the full-back has interest from across the globe after spending the second half of the campaign on loan with Western Sydney Wanderers. | Stephen Flynn/ProSportsImages

8. Josh Knight
It's been a frustrating stay for the £1m man following his arrival last summer. Knight featured 14 times for Mousinho's troops last term, with his final outing coming in November due to a stress fracture in his back. With Pompey looking to bolster the backline in the window, the 28-year-old's future is another under the spotlight. | Graham Hunt/ProSportsImages
