The transfer window is less than three weeks away and anticipation is already growing on the south coast.
John Mousinho’s troops will be hoping to avoid another relegation battle, which saw them secure their safety with two games to go.
Plenty of business both in and out of the door at PO4 are on the cards, with the Blues starting their transfer preparations early.
But could Pompey look at the Premier League for potential options?
While names including Andy Robertson, Bernado Silva, Harry Wilson and more are without deals next term, they’re no doubt beyond the Blues’ reach.
However, we’ve gone through the top-flight players expected to become free agents this summer who could be possible alternatives.

5. Conor Chaplin - Ipswich Town
Chaplin has divided the Fratton faithful, with some supporters calling for the Blues to re-sign the attacker on a permanent basis, while others are adamant Pompey must centre their recruitment on other targets. 6. Sam Byram - Leeds United
The experienced full-back has hinted he will depart Leeds United at the end of the campaign, bringing an end to his three-year stay. Byram, who has won promotion from the second-tier with the likes of Leeds and Norwich City, has made it clear he wants to play regular football with a move to the Championship potentially on the cards. 7. Josh DaSilva - Brentford
DaSilva completed his long-awaited comeback earlier this month, bringing an end to his two-year injury nightmare, where he underwent two separate knee surgeries. The 27-year-old, who rose through the ranks with Arsenal, was pivotal in Brentford’s rise prior to his injury set-backs and is looking to eclipse the form seen earlier in his career. 8. Adam Webster - Brighton
Brighton are set to confirm Webster’s departure in the coming weeks, with his contract coming to a close this summer. Reports have suggested Albion will opt against handing the Fratton Park academy graduate fresh terms to extend his Amex Stadium stay, having amassed 158 outings in all competitions. His affiliation to Pompey, of course, sparks an interest, with some supporters highlighting his contract situation as something Mousinho's side should jump on.
