Portsmouth transfer deadline day LIVE: Blues have bid turned down for Burton attacker

It’s transfer deadline day and it’s gearing up to be an action-packed finale to the window at Fratton Park.

Pompey are expected to be busy throughout the day as John Mousinho puts the finishing touches on his new-look squad.

Ten players have already arrived through the doors so far in the window, but that number is set to increase, with the head coach anticipating as many as three new faces before the 11pm cut off.

A left-back and a versatile attacker are both priority positions for the Blues, who will be ready to react if anything crops up in the closing stages.

Departures are also on the cards as Mousinho looks to trim some players from his squad, with the futures of Luke Le Roux, Josef Bursik, Harvey Blair and more under the spotlight.

We’ll have transfer updates from Fratton Park and from across the Championship throughout the day as Pompey and their rivals round off their summer spending.
