Business is set to ramp up as the weeks go on as John Mousinho assembles his squad for their third-successive Championship campaign.
There is also plenty of uncertainty over a number of players currently in Mousinho’s side, with Pompey bracing for interest in the likes of Adrian Segecic and Terry Devlin.

The left-back signed a new two-year deal at Fratton Park, which will now take him up to the summer of 2028.
As anticipation grows amongst supporters regarding new arrivals, what are the areas in need of some surgery this summer?
We’ve taken a look at what Pompey’s strongest XI and bench would look like at present to work out what’s still required during the window.

9. RW: Keshi Anderson
Anderson will be hoping to put his early injury issues to bed after suffering successive hamstring problems during the second half of the campaign. There were plenty of positive signs from the January arrival, who netted one goal in his seven outings. | Pro Sports Images

10. CAM: Adrian Segecic
Segecic enjoyed an outstanding maiden campaign at Fratton Park, which saw him finish as the Blues' top scorer with 11 goals. After a brilliant end to the season, there is interest in the Croatian talent but Pompey are hopeful of keeping the young revelation. | Pro Sports Images

11. LW: Josh Murphy
Mousinho will be hoping Murphy can stay fit throughout the entirety of next season, having been hampered by injury last term. Despite being restricted to just 17 Championship outings, the winger amassed an eye-catching seven assists. | Pro Sports Images

12. ST: Colby Bishop
Pompey's priority this summer will be strengthening the front line, with a new number nine heavily on the cards. Bishop was frustratingly limited last season, netting three Championship goals all season. A new centre-forward is expected to arrive in the window to challenge the Magic Man. | Pro Sports Images
