2. Nicolas Schmid - 5
Could do very little for both of Swansea’s first-half goals, but did hold a lot of the ball. The pace of his distribution did come under a bit of stick by the frustrated Fratton faithful in the first period, but improved after the break. | Getty Images
3. Terry Devlin - 5
An uncharacteristically poor showing by the Northern Irishman, who has been so good for the Blues this term. Ji-Sung Eom gave the right-back all kinds of problems throughout the evening. Devlin was at fault for the Swans’ first goal after he lost Eom in the build-up. | Dennis Goodwin/ProSportsImages
4. Madiodio Dia - 6
(Replaced by John Swift on 84 minutes) The January arrival, who made his full Blues debut this evening, had a shaky introduction but grew confidence at the heart of the backline. After a few nervy moments, he was strong on the ball and used his power to wrestle with the Swansea forward line. | Simon Roe/ProSportsImages
