RECAP the action as Portsmouth fall to defeat against Swansea City
Pompey make the trip to South Wales to face Swansea City this evening.
Pompey are back in action this evening as they make the long, midweek trip to face Swansea City.
The Blues head into the contest sitting 22nd in the table after Saturday’s game against Charlton Athletic was abandoned after just 12 minutes due to a medical emergency.
With the trip to The Valley now scrubbed from the records, John Mousinho’s men have picked up 17 points from their opening 18 games.
They face the 20th-placed Swans in South Wales, who picked up their first win under new boss Vitor Matos over the weekend to put daylight between themselves and the relegation zone.
A win for Pompey tonight could move them out of the bottom three as the early-season fight at the bottom of the table continues.
We’ll have build-up and team news before live updates throughout the evening in South Wales as the Blues eye a return to winning ways.
