Pompey claimed a much-needed win over Millwall on Saturday afternoon on their return from the latest international break.
Although the Lions were reduced to 10 men on 67 minutes, they did pull a goal back soon after, with Mihailo Ivanovic converting from a corner.
John Mousinho’s men did apply the pressure late on and were able to put the game to bed, with Jordan Williams smashing home Pompey’s third from the edge of the area.
The victory, the Blues’ first in six games, moves them above Swansea City into 19th but remain four points clear of the relegation zone.
