When is Southampton v Pompey?
Pompey are back in action in a fortnight’s time on October 11 as they travel to St Mary’s for the latest south-coast derby with Southampton.
Like last season, the hotly-anticipated fixture has been moved to midday on the Sunday for policing reasons as well as for television broadcasting.
Sky Sports have once again selected the contest for live coverage, with the action also available on free-to-air television for supporters on ITV.

Can I get tickets?
The Fratton faithful quickly snapped up their full allocation for their second trip to St Mary’s in successive seasons.
The Blues, of course, have sold out all four of their away fixtures in all competitions this season, with John Mousinho’s men backed significantly on the road in the opening weeks.
There will be 2,500 supporters making the short trip across the M27 in club-arranged transport, with Pompey looking for their first victory in Southampton since 2010.
Will it be on TV and can I stream it?
Pompey’s trip to St Mary’s will be televised for supporters who were unable to purchase tickets for the contest.
There will be a choice of viewing, with Sky Sports showing the fixture on their Main Event and Football channels. With a nhour’s worth of build-up, there will be studio analysis, pundit opinions, interviews as well as reaction after the game.
Fans who don’t have Sky Sports can tune into the action by purchasing a NOW TV day pass for £14 and will also have a selection of Sky’s 11 other sports channels.
The south-coast derby will also be played free-to-air, with ITV holding rights to broadcast selected Championship matches.
Supporters are able tune in on ITV1 and catch all the build-up, action and reaction with pundits and analysis. Meanwhile, fans who are on the go can stream the game on ITVX, STV and STV Player.
The Fratton faithful can also follow every Pompey game live on Pompey+, the club’s official streaming platform.
UK-based fans can purchase an audio match pass for full live commentary. Overseas supporters can buy a video match pass to watch the game live.

Team news

Injuries have hampered Pompey start to the new Championship campaign and will travel to their fierce rivals without a number of key personnel .
The Blues are facing a nervous wait to find out the extent of Conor Shaughnessy’s groin issue after the Irishman was withdrawn against Blackburn Rovers last time.
Central defensive partner Benjy Arthur, however, is facing at least 12 weeks out after sustaining a stress fracture in his back.
The game will also come too soon for Josh Murphy and Connor Ogilvie, with the duo expected to complete their comebacks from respective groin and knee injuries after the trio to St Mary’s.
Thomas Waddingham, Franco Umeh, Mark Kosznovszky and Luke Brooke-Smith will also sit out due to long-term injury setbacks.
The winger suffered a quad tear during the Blues’ pre-season training camp in Ireland in July and has subsequently missed the opening eight matches of the campaign in all competitions.
Anderson will be joined by Marko Milovanovic, who is also expected to be fit again after suffering a minor calf issue ahead of the international break.
Southampton, meanwhile, will have a fully-fit squad to choose from for the derby, with Caspar Jander poised to complete his comeback.
The midfielder has missed the opening weeks of the campaign with a muscle injury sustained in pre-season and Tonda Eckert has pencilled in the 23-year-old to feature against Pompey.
Referee
The EFL have yet to confirm their refereeing selection for the south-coast derby showdown in a fortnight’s time.
