Segecic forgets ID - but Portsmouth will have to 'bat off' sides for ace after Birmingham City: Faithfuls react
Birmingham City and Pompey played out a competitive final-day Championship clash, with both sets of fans having plenty to say on the afternoon’s events. Here’s a selection of views from X (formerly Twitter).
Seggy what an absolute legend, lovely to all the fans and posing for photos. Just got turned away from The Liquorist for no ID Imagine turning away Pompey’s top goal scorer at 7pm on a Saturday night. Embarrassing @rebzeleanor
Can see Pompey having to bat off a few teams for Segecic
Segecic is a tidy player. Can see Pompey having to bat off a few teams in the summer. @J1875_
25/26 season done Typical emotional rollercoaster where we spent the majority of the season being rubbish but we got it over the line when it mattered most. @JordanBoxall6
Adrian Segečić Pompey no.10 looks like a fantastic talent! Ask the question Craigy #bcfc #kro @Ssor1990
A proud afternoon for all at Moneyfields with former U16s Goalkeeper Ethan Bell being involved in the @Pompey first team squad for their game against @bcfc at Fratton Park. In 6 months Ethan has gone from our U16s, to playing for Pompey's U18s and winning the PDL Cup with Pompey's U16s, to now being involved in the first team squad. It has been a rapid rise for such a talented Goalkeeper and we can't wait to see what the future holds for the young shot stopper. #UpTheMoneys @MONEYFIELDSFC
Worst refereeing performance in a season of dire performances
Always got to try & improve from the previous season. Looking at the final Championship League Table the jury would still be out in deciding if @Pompey have improved this season One certain decision, be back for more episodes of the Portsmouth FC soap opera next season. PUP @parquedelperro
Worst refereeing performance in a season of dire performances. We all deserve so much better. Luckily the game had nothing on it. #Pompey @nisbeckian
Most bizarre question that needs answering from this season, is why Tottenham thought recalling MinhyeokYang who was making an impact at Pompey to go and sit in Coventry's reserves for half a season made any sense whatsoever. Cant get my head around that one still. #pompey @CamGpfc
Wouldn't fancy getting on the wrong side of that La Roux in centre mid for Pompey. Looks like he is going In for the kill with every challenge. @_chrisquinn
Credit to both #pompey and #bcfc for making a game of this end of season clash. @terrycanthackit
