Do you agree with how Blues writer Jordan Cross saw it as John Mousinho’s men returned to Championship action?

Came out with energy and performed like a player with a point to prove. Didn’t get everything right in the conditions, but his pace stretched Millwall and there was an honesty about the Frenchman’s performance which will hold him good stead with Pompey fans Photo: Alun Roberts

Usual level from Pompey’s star man. Struck fear into Millwall with his pace and then served up two key assists - the second a peach of a defence-splitting ball for Segecic. Denied a hat-trick of assists by Lang miss but continues to stand out at Championship level. Photo: Graham Hunt

Perfect conditions for the Sydney Cyclone’s return! Injury lay-off has clearly not disrupted attacker’s energy levels with a display rewarded with his fourth of the season, which is definitely his goal even with the slight nick off Tristan Crama! | National World

The skipper definitely benefitted from having the pace around him which has been conspicuous by its absence amid his recent struggles. Didn’t get the goal his game needs but led the press relentlessly, with his work-rate impressive | Graham Hunt/ProSportsImages
