52 fabulous photos of festive Portsmouth faithful at Fratton Park for Boxing Day draw against QPR

The Santa hats were out in full force at Fratton Park on Friday as Pompey claimed a 1-1 draw against QPR for the Boxing Day contest.

The Blues shot out of the blocks and dominated proceedings in the first period, with their efforts rewarded with a goal on the stroke of half-time. Terry Devlin was able to slot home from a corner to give John Mousinho’s a deserved lead going into the break.

The R’s did respond in the second half through Jimmy Dunne, with another set-piece once again undoing Pompey.

It was a fairly tame finish to the proceedings, with the point dropping the Blues back into the Championship relegation zone.

Nonetheless, there were 20,449 supporters in attendance at PO4 for the Boxing Day showdown, with the Fratton faithful making their voices heard from the stands.
